How does K2 to P1 bridging help my child start Primary 1?
It gives K2 children a head start on the Primary 1 syllabus, following MOE's Primary 1 topics so the first term at school feels familiar.
- English: grammar and vocabulary, comprehension, reading and writing, speaking.
- Mathematics: patterns, number concepts and the Primary 1 topics.
- Chinese: 汉语拼音, listening, speaking, reading and writing.
What is a phonics class, and what age is it for?
Phonics teaches children to read by sound, for ages 3 to 6. Letter sounds and blending through games, songs and hands-on activities, in structured levels from foundation to advanced.
Brain training and coding
Brain training classes run for 1.5 hours and coding classes for 1 hour. Ask your centre which levels are running.
Sport
Basketball and fitness classes. Ask your centre what is running this term.
